The movie, directed by Ding De Jesus was produced by Mariano (Mike) Z. Velarde. Is this the same Bro. I had a TV show in 1970's called SEÑOR SANTO NIÑO, delving into ALLEGED santo nino miracles. I had attended their meetings two or thee times plus during their fluvial procession in Pasig River. Mike Velarde (now El Shaddai) was the leader. This is where I got most of my stories for my scripts in the series. In some cases, from the hospitals, where cancer victims suddenly recovered and the doctors could not explain how.
But Velarde and Associates were actually a partnership of several people. Eddie Romero & Gerry de Leon were part of it as well. In fact, Velarde and Associates also produced a film called LILET, with Celia Rodriguez and Lou Salvador, Jr. Directed by Gerry de Leon

He is the former film producer/writer of the 1970's era turned minister/preacher & religious leader founder of El Shaddai Movement in the 1980's era a religious catholic organization was formed mostly religious organizers & churchgoers also in television film & media in Philippine history.
