Hi Simon,

These Manila Film Festival posts are an absolute treasure trove for us researchers - what a perfect way to dissect a country's film industry on any given year! Kudos to you, sir.

Cheers, Andrew

Absolute treasures indeed. Manila, Open City seems to be an International collaboration thus should be available in Amazon...and it is listed, except no copy available.
I took home Lino Brocka's Tinimbang Ka Nguni't Kulang in a 2-DVD collection set with Tatlo, Dalawa, Isa. I thought I'd seen this before but I guess I haven't. I was mesmerized by Lolita Rodriquez's stunning performance as Kuala. And she won again in this Festival.

Hi Sir, I salute you for creating this site. For the likes of us with old souls these are priceless. I collect old memorabilia's as well. Photos, movie, even antiques specially old coins. Is it possible we could swap old movies or if you can direct me where to find it, I would truly appreciate it. I'm a big fan of FPJ and I have some or seen of his films. Here's my email try_blu@yahoo.com, hope you can find time to indulge me. Thank you.
